This will be our banlenght list that we should follow. For some reason i always find some permanent banned just for haveng ping over it's limit or mis/chat spamming. if we keep perma banning these people for this reasons, we will loose a lot of players, don't you agree?? the only time we use permanent ban is for cheaters, or racism on multiple offence. i provided a list, for us guys[Admins] to follow.

Hacking/Walling/Aimbot/Whatever Cheats Available - Permanent Ban

Racism/Cursing Over & Over
- 1st Offence [2 Days Ban]
- 2nd Offence [1 Week Ban] [Permanent Ban For Rasicm]
- 3rd Offence [2-4 Weeks] (If Possible)

Mic/Chat Spamming
- 1st Offence [Kick/Mute/Gag]
- 2nd Offence - [1-2 Hour Ban]
- 3rd Offence [1 Week Ban]
- If Spamming Continues [1 Week Ban] Still is the punishment

Advertising
- 1st Offence [Kick/Mute/Gag]
- 2nd Offence [1-2 Days Ban]
- 3rd Offence [1 Week Ban]

Porn/Gay Sprays
- 1st Offence [Kick]
- 2nd Offence [1 Week Ban]

Ghosting
- 1st Offence [Kick/Mute/Gag]
- 2nd Offence [1-2 Days Ban]

If you think there are more offence not listed in here, plz tell me so i can add it on here.
Thanks

Well put example. Yeah guys try not to permanently ban people as much as possible. If its for good reasons then by all means but not for minor things like mic spamming and like example said ping issues. Also remember to always record a demo before banning a hacker.

I like the list and all. Good stuff Example.

Only problem is... do you memorize all this or what? Usually when people need to be handled, the quicker the better. If you arent sure exactly what the right punishment because these are THE RULES, then you gotta look it up, and by the time you get back the person may have left already and that can be a headache cuz they can just come back, then you try to track down numbers if it warrants that...yadda yadda... lots of mess.

So thes are "guidelines" yes? You know, like Pirates of the Carribean style "think of them not as rules, but guidelines".

I'm not sure I see the point in initiating a 1 or more week ban on someone. If the offense is that great, do we really want them back in the server? Is someone keeping track of everyone's Prior offenses so we can say "you were banned 3 weeks ago and now you're back doing the same thing" because by then noone else will likely remember?

I tend to go by severity of course, but more along the lines of "advise" "kick" "ban 5 mins" "ban 1 hr" "ban 24hr" "perma ban", and use little else. Not that I always follow that through in order, severity depending, but you know what I mean.

Do we NEED several day and several week long bans?
