Never give out password

Dear Members,

I would like to inform everyone that do NOT give out your password to anyone from the forum, steam, etc.) If anyone asks for your password, and claims to be from our community do not give it out!! We never ask for your password, for support or for whatever we never ask for it. There has been recent activities lately from hijackers. It hasn't been from our forum but has been from couple I heard.

my last account was stolen that way, my brother thought that the person that contacted him was a VALVe staff member so he gave the password to him it sucked because i had over $200 worth of games.

Thats why my steam id sucks.

Once this guy claimed to be the admin and he needed my login and password to add me to the ADMIN list.. so I was like my login is (Foul Language) and my passwrot is YOU... lolz The guy was trying and he said that it wasent working...

STEAM will not contact you for information at any time.
They have redundant backups that are saved off site.
IF you EVER get a message from STEAM, you will be directed to create a forums account on the official website, and there you will be messaged by one of the Moderators.
Steam will NEVER ask for your password.
If you have not tried changing your password on your Cleint, then they will not send a password recovery either.

Simply put.
STEAM will NEVER contact you.
They will NEVER ask for your password.
They will never ask for ANY data.
If a STEAM associate MUST get in touch with you, you will receive an email to create a forums account ON the official forums site.
The likelihood of STEAM contacting you is 1 in 2 billion.

if u paid with a credit card or debit for the games u can give that number to steam and they will give u a new steamid and all ur games back.
