Hey does your soundcard...like min is onboard realtec, will let me have my speakers plugged into audio out, and when I plug my headset into another jack...say line-in...it asks me what I want it to be..so I can actually have another line out. Does yours function in the same manner?

When I plug my speakers, it doesn't ask me anything, it just tells me that a new device is detected.

lmao, spoke to fast...turn out when i was messing with devices on windows media player... i clicked digital output, it modifies my playback device for everything... so the music didnt just stop it my headset, it stopped all my sound...and no matter what jack i plug into or setting I select I don't get just music...back to the drawing board on this one...gonna have to pull out my speakers again and get to work
