| Yea, Windows 7 is pretty awesome, but there's some driver problems and you can't really delete files in some game folders cause it doesn't let you for some reason.  . I'm prolly just gonna wait till the full release and get Windows 7. | |

| ya unfortunately my new computer came with Vista and i was unable to downgrade to xp im happy with windows 7 anything is better than Vista | |

| i got the RC installed last night, must say its pretty damn good!
windows 7, ubuntu and vista- just hope vista doesn't decide to bugger it up for you lol | |

| I gotta say, I love W7 as well... much more stable, and a much smaller ram footprint. Leaves much more of my hardware available for other uses. | |

| Hey guys I got a question...I recently installed Windows 7 ultimate and i run steam from windows.old from when I had vista....sometimes it works fine and other times when i launch a game from steam it makes explorer.exe quit responding.... anyone else have this problem. Also, if you are thinking about upgrading to windows 7 and you have Norton, Mcafee or any other Antivirus program 09 version it will not work with Windows 7 so you might want to upgrade after your antivirus program expires if you do not want to waste money. These are the only 2 problems I have come across on Windows 7 other than that I love it! | |

| I haven't had any problems with steam, I'm sure your best bet at resolving the issue is simply to reinstall steam. As far as antivirus, I use avast, it's free, they're pretty good about updates... by far, better than norton IMO. Give it a look. | |

| dude I've been running avast for years....and I do a lot of torrenting...just as good as the paid stuff IMO | |
